On the Hive World Forum in the DBZ planetary system, a Chaos Cult has begun its machinations to open a Warp Storm to allow the full force of the Chaos Gods and their attendant daemons to lay claim to this Imperial world. However, a detachment of the Grey Knight Space Marine Chapter and the Ordo Hereticus (Daemon Hunters) Inquisitorial branch have found themselves inadvertantly brought to the world from last Warp Jump, and have chosen to stay to resupply. Can the Grey Knights and Inquisition save the world from the unknown Chaos threat? Or shall Hive World Forum join the millions of other planets lost to the Ruinous Powers? Here we are, the beginning of the game. I shall post the characters here for sake of ease of the game... IMPERIUM OF MAN (Townies) Inquisitor Shraeden: As the nominal leader of the Inquisitorial Fleet now disembarked upon Hive World Forum, the Inquisitor can investigate one character per night to find out whether or not they're Chaos (Mafia). (This is done via PM with the host) Brother-Captain Titus: As the leader of the Grey Knight Space Marine Chapter, Titus co-leads the Inquisitorial Fleet with Inquisitor Shraeden. The Brother-Captain, using his psyker powers and general authority, can change one vote made by a fellow Grey Knight Space Marine. However, if the chosen voter is not a Grey Knight, the vote stays as it was posted. (This is done via PM with the host) Veteran Sergeant Delios: As Titus' right hand man, Veteran Sergeant Delios is one of the most trusted (having been granted the honour of wearing Tactical Dreadnought, aka Terminator armour) and hardy Space Marines the Grey Knights have ever made. When Delios would normally be killed, his Terminator armour will save him, but only once. After Delios' Armour Save has been used, he can be eliminated like any other player. Chaplain Balefrane: As the extended hand of the Ecclesiarchy (Grand Church of the Imperium), Balefrane ensures the Grey Knights stay the course and never fall to Chaos, like many other chapters of the Space Marines have seen or done. Balefrane can protect someone from getting killed during night except himself. He cannot save the same person twice in a row. (This is done via PM with the host). Devastator-Brother Graelin: A headstrong but competent young Space Marine, Graelin commands a squad of Devastator Marines, those Marines who carry the Chapter's holy heavy weapons. Graelin himself wields a massive Heavy Bolter to battle. Battle-Brother Vilane: Rising through the ranks of the Assault Marines, the spearpoint that wage their wars in close combat with the enemy, Vilane has gained a reputation of making even immortal daemons fear his chainsword and fury. Hiver Jirale: Another noble, Jirale had decided to aid Shraeden after hearing rumors of Xerkis conspiring with Chaos. THE FORCES OF CHAOS (Mafia) Daemon Prince Kartonus: The leader of the Chaos Cult on Hive World Forum, Kartonus works furiously to gain a large enough following to gain the blessings of the Chaos God Tzeentch. Kartonus has the power to taint one, and only one, Imperial (Townie) to the side of Chaos. Note: if the chosen is a Grey Knight and the Chaplain is still alive, Kartonus will suffer a psychic backlash, resulting in his power being unavailable for two day cycles. Kartonus is also the member of the Mafia who shall be given the power to choose assassination targets. (This is done via PM with the host) Daemon Prince Nichtilus: A Daemon Prince of Khorne, Nichtilus cares not about the machinations of Kartonus and seeks to gain favour by slaughtering all of the Hivers of Forum he can find, showering the Blood God with a million gallons of blood, one man, woman and child at a time if need be. Nichtilus may force a tied vote once, resulting in a tie breaker round. However, he cannot choose who are in a tie; the tie will be between the two current leading people in vote numbers. (This is done via PM with the host) Chaos Cultist Xerkis: A young Noble, Xerkis turned to Chaos when she found forbidden texts regarding summoning of Daemons and is reponsible for beginning the Chaos threat upon Forum for summoning both Kartonus and Nichtilus. And now for our general rules..... - The game is divided in 2 phases: Day and Night (they start and end when the host announces it);- During Day Time all characters talk openly in this thread and try to find out who the Mafia are by lynching people. Mafia members will try to appear innocent to others and blend in with the Good Team; - The person lynched during Day Time gets eliminated (dies) and it becomes Night Time. - During Night Time ONLY dead people can talk in the thread. They cannot reveal their suspicions or participate in the game, they can only make general comments. - All characters with night actions (specified in their role) will send me a PM to perform those actions. - The Mafia kills someone at night (via PM), which is announced the following day by the host. - Day Time starts again. - The Mafia wins if they outnumber the Townies alive (if there are more Mafia than Townies). - The Townies win if they eliminate all Mafia members before it's too late. - You are NOT allowed to reveal your role to anybody in the game, unless the host announces you can do it. - Any questions about your role can only be asked via PM with the host. 1.
